Kansas & Missouri are home to approximately 546 different species of spiders. Spiders are great to have around because of the amount of other pests they eat. However, they can still be creepy and even harmful to humans. 

 

The 2 most venomous spiders we have are the Brown Recluse and the Black Widow. Many people confuse wolf spiders and cellar spiders with brown recluse spiders.
